Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 01.01.2026
1) The short version
- Use common sense. Treat this site, and the people behind it, the way you would want to be treated.
- Don’t quote me, re-publish my content, or present my words as “my statement” in public without written permission.
- Don’t share gated content. Don’t try to bypass access controls. Don’t scrape or mass-collect anything.
- Some parts of this site are experimental (including AI tools). If something looks off, tell me.
- Using the contact form does not create any obligation for me to read, respond to, or even receive your message.
- These terms govern use of the site only. Any business relationship is governed by separate written agreements.
If you do not like these rules, do not use the site.
2) Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms and any policies linked from it (including the Privacy Policy).
If you are using the site on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
3) Respect and acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to do harmful, abusive, or intrusive things. That includes:
- harassment, threats, hate, or targeted intimidation
- doxxing, or sharing personal information about me or others
- impersonating me, claiming affiliation, or misrepresenting my identity or work
- attempting to embarrass, “expose,” or bait me using excerpts taken out of context
- spamming the contact form or any site features
I can block access, disable accounts, or restrict features if I believe your behavior creates risk for me, the site, or other users.
If you break these terms, I may suspend your access and pursue legal remedies.
4) Quoting, attribution, and public referencing
I am happy for people to read and learn from what I share here. I am not okay with people putting words in my mouth.
So:
- No quotes or attributed statements: You may not quote, screenshot-quote, or present content as a “statement from me” in public without written permission.
- No selective clipping: Do not cherry-pick fragments to imply opinions, intent, or admissions that are not clearly stated.
- No press or publication reuse without approval: If you want to reference my work in an article, post, newsletter, talk, podcast, or social media thread, ask first – I’m easy to talk to, just reach out 🙂
- Allowed: You may link to a page on this site in a normal way, as long as you do not misrepresent affiliation and you do not republish the content.
If I reach out to you first, I may sometimes include a quote-approval request depending on context. If you are unsure, ask.
5) Intellectual property and content license
Unless stated otherwise, all content on this site (text, visuals, code snippets, layouts, and materials) is owned by me or licensed to me.
Third-party trademarks and logos: Any third-party names, logos, and marks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used for identification or reference only, and they do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless explicitly stated.
Some visual assets, including background images, may be sourced from third-party libraries such as Unsplash and are used under their respective licenses.
I also rely on open-source software, and I’m grateful to the maintainers and contributors who make that possible. I try to pitch in when I can 🙂
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and read it for your own use.
You may not:
- copy, re-publish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the content
- compile or archive the content (including behind a paywall or internal knowledge base) without permission
- use the content to train or fine-tune AI models, build datasets, or feed automated summarization pipelines at scale without written permission
- remove watermarks, notices, or context that changes meaning
6) Gated content and accounts
If parts of the site are gated (login-only or invitation-only):
- your access is personal
- you must not share credentials, share access, or mirror gated content elsewhere
- you must not attempt to bypass gates, rate limits, or other controls
- I may revoke access at any time if I believe it creates risk or abuse
7) No scraping, automation, or mass collection
You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, browser automation, or automated scripts to access, index, copy, monitor, or extract content or data from the site.
You may not probe, scan, test, reverse-engineer, or attempt to break security or access controls.
8) Experimental tools and AI-generated output
Some features may be experimental, including AI systems that generate or transform text.
You acknowledge that:
- outputs may be incomplete, wrong, or not representative of what I believe
- outputs can change without notice
- you will not treat experimental outputs as authoritative statements from me
- if something looks malfunctioning, misleading, or odd, I would appreciate you reporting it so I can fix it
9) No reliance, no warranties
This site is provided “as is” and “as available.”
I do not guarantee that:
- the site will be uninterrupted or error-free
- content is complete, current, or suitable for your specific use
- messages sent through forms will be delivered or received
You use the site at your own risk.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- I am not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, reputational harm, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.
- My liability is limited to foreseeable damages typically associated with this kind of website use.
11) Contact form and communications
Using the contact form:
- does not create a contract or obligation for me to respond
- is not a guaranteed delivery mechanism
- should not be treated as a delivery confirmation or ticketing system
If you think your message got filtered or failed, use another channel you already have for me.
12) Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites. I do not control them and I am not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
13) No recording
If we communicate in any way that includes voice or video (calls, meetings, voice notes, screen shares), don’t record it and don’t publish it.
If you want to record for any reason, ask first and get written approval. If I do not explicitly approve it in writing, the answer is no.
This includes partial recordings, transcripts, screen recordings, and background recording.
14) Changes to these terms
Life is dynamic and so are these terms. I may update them when needed.
If you have an account, I may notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
15) Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
If you are a merchant (Kaufmann) or acting as a business, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the operator as stated in the Imprint.
16) Reporting misuse, takedown requests, and corrections
If you believe:
- content about you is inaccurate, or
- someone is misusing content from this site, or
- a security issue exists
Contact me via the contact form and include links and context. If the request is reasonable, I will act quickly.
